Only yesterday, Jan 14, did I hear of Shirleys passing. Had I known I most certainly would have attended the graveside service.
The roots of our families’ friendship
run long and deep. As a result I always tried to stop by to see Shirley
When visiting Phelps from NC. Her passing marks the last of the couples that were friends for so many years
and their memory. My heart is deeply saddened by her passing.
