To a beautiful lady who was the richest woman in the world, not because she had material wealth but because she had a heart of gold. She was not only my best friend she was my mother. I met you for the first time in 1971 when I was 14 years old. I came to stay with you in 1972 when you lived in Arthur Street, Perth for part of my summer holidays and had a wonderful time.
You took care of me and made sure I had a wonderful Canadian holiday.
I never saw you again until September 2007 and I am so glad I visited you that day during my second visit to Canada.
You were still my Auntie Shirley, a warm and caring person who always put others before herself.

My Prayers go out to Carrie-ann , Germaine , Tessa , Gordon and Tracy , and thier children , I'm sorry to hear that Shirley past away . She was and always will be the greatest Woman i have ever had the honor of meeting in my life .
She always know what to say to make you smily, to chear you up when you were down , and was a great Lady to have in your life .

My prayers and thoughts go out to the McDougall family. Ive known Shirley for years and she was such a wonderful person, she would do anything for anybody if she could.Ive known her kids for years and they stood by their mother through everything and has been there when she needed them the most. Shirley you will certainly be missed and you will never be forgotten. R.I.P
