Shirley Lou Moore

I just found out that Shirley had passed and so very sorry for the loss to this large family. She was a caring person in our class of 1956 and made sure those of us who could did get together every year. She will be missed very much by those whose life she touched. I have always admired the way that Shirley kept the family together, the years of Brookover-Jones Family Reunions were memorial. She always had a smile on her face and would take the time to make everyone feel at home, and made sure that you had food in your belly.
I'm so happy to have known her and reconnecting with cousins and family members through the Reunions.

Shirley was the hardest working, most trustworthy person I've ever known. She was such a help to me when I needed her the most. We had a lot of fun in that flower shop too. Perry was kind to us as well. I'm truly sorry for your loss.

I will miss seeing Shirley on Friday mornings, we discussed the the class of 56 and people we knew, as well as our families. I know she is with God.

I am so saddened to learn of Shirley's passing. As a little girl going to church with my grandparents, I met Shirley who was a beautiful and friendly teen-ager. She was a good friend of my aunt and uncle's, Mary Wesley and Etley Robison. I know your family and Fairview will miss her greatly.
