Shirley Muir

I am sorry to hear this news. Shirley came back to the states and worked at Brenham Junior High School for one year as a reading teacher. Teachers and students alike enjoyed her as a teacher and co-worker. She spent Thanksgiving and Christmas with us as her family was far away. We all enjoyed her humor and our shared love of Snoopy! Rest in Peace, Shirley! You were an awesome person.

I was the director of the school in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil who hired Shirley to be a member of a team hired to design and implement a model Middle School program. Shirley was zealous in her defense of the importance of strengthening the English and reading skills of our students across the disciplines. A serious and dedicated professional!

Shirley and I taught together in Salvador, Brasil. I enjoyed our early morning walks along the beach road and our bus stop chats. Always a joke or story to be told, Shirley will certainly be missed. RIP Dear Sheeeley and I'll think of you as I walk the beat this morning

I have many memories of time spent with the Muir family as I was growing up. We lived nearby & attended St. Paul´s Methodist church with them. I´m sorry to hear that Gwenda is also gone now. We used to walk to Logan Jr High together. Praying comfort for Marsha & family.
