You're Mom & Dad were very good friends with my Mom & Dad quite a few years ago, beginning in 1946. I got to know Shirley better when my Mom was sick. We had quite a few long talks on the phone. Bobby, I am still blessed to have both of my parents, but it is through your loss that I can see the pain I will feel one day. There is no greater loss than a parent or a child and you have suffered through this pain on more than one occasion, including the loss of your sister. I know I cannot take the pain away, but rest assured if there is anything you need just ask and I will do my best for you and your family. It was such a blessing to have known Shirley. I will always have sweet memories of all the conversations we had. She was such a bright, intelligent, caring, loving lady. I am forever grateful to have such an angel enter my life.I will miss her.

Shirley will be truly missed but I know she is laughing and enjoying being with our Heavenly Father and Grandma Ruth along with other loved ones. She was truly a great woman, mother, sister and wife.
