Not sure what to say?

I will miss you everyday, forever. Hope you´re lying on your back, as Ron suggested.

Skill have flash backs of the great times Shirley and I had on the lake at Spring Lake in Kirksville, MO. We spent the summers together and winters at school. Her parents Paul and Ruth were as special as Shirley.

It was a pleasure knowing Shirley, and I will always miss her. She was a good friend, and I am grateful to have known her. I will miss you Shirley.

Way to go girl!

What a shock to hear about Shirley. We were best friends in Kirksville, MO and spent the summers together at Spring Lake, sailing, water skiing and swimming. Enjoyed her friendship and her parents. What great times we had. We all lost a great and special person.

I will always remember Shirley (and Ron's) kindness to us when we joined the Hobie Fleet. She was definitely one of a kind and wonderfully special

It will always be the pride of my life to have known that unique and special person, Shirley Palmer, and her one of a kind wonderful family, Ron, Karen and Kristen. How lucky it was for them to have a wife and mother with such extraordinary talents and values. She was a guidepost for all who knew her. She was for me, and always will be. The great memories are countless, even when we had to explain when we were only joking.
