I just want to express my condolences to the family. Ron was my mentor when I was an apprentice at Michigan Wheel. I spent time with Ron and Shirley during Ron's illness, now they are reunited again. Shirley was one of those individuals that touched a lot of lives and will be missed dearly. Again my condolences.

Shirley worked with me for nearly ten years in Kelloggsville Public School's Secondary Reading Lab and Title I Program. Not only did she keep excellent records of students' progress, but she was open and caring with the young people, providing a listening ear to many whose lives were sad or chaotic.
