Quilting brought us together. Supporting Project from the Heart became our common goal as we arranged an annual collection at the Piecemaker's Guild. She was a big plus in my life!

We met Shirley and Jimmy when we first moved to Fairfield in 1980. Shirley invited us into the Assumption Community, where else but the Beer Tent at September Fest. I served with her for Hot Dog/Pizza Lunches and used her talented Interior Design skills to wallpaper our new home, We enjoyed Beer and Bloodys there every New Year´s Day for 40 years when COVID interfered. Rest in Peace dear friend

Dear Jim and family, my heart is aching for you with the passing of dear Shirley. I have so many happy memories of our time together at Assumption Parish. I can still picture her infectious smile. I shall remember her when I celebrate mass tomorrow morning. Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Jimmy, Jimmy jr. and Diana, I am so sorry for your loss. Shirley was a wonderful person who helped so many people. I will always remember all the fun we had at Assumption. May she rest in God´s peace, and sing with the angels.
