Not sure what to say?

Dear Mom,
It's so hard to think of New
Years approaching and you not around. It pains me to even think of this and know "it" is the reality. This week we would have been planning for our annual New Year's Eve family get-together for whoever would stop by. We would organize what snacks and foods would fill the living room table that we would all enjoy together. There would always be M$Ms, herring for good luck, knishes, dips and often Chinese food, too.
All your kids contributed...

Dear Mom,
At midnight, we would always call each other on our birthdays. I miss you so much it hurts. I think of you often and so many things bring you to mind. I will try to continue to celebrate your life daily. I will perpetuate your good morals, your acceptance of all, your zest for everything in life and your untiring love for family and friends. I'll try not to forget what you would tell me "Wendi, don't sweat the small stuff". I'm so glad I was with you in the end.

Dear Gloria, Sandi, Merna, Pam, Ronnie, Wendi, Terry, Gary, Lea, & all of their spouses & family,
I know I already made an entry, but I have to add something. I've never seen a shiva house run so smoothly! EVERYONE got along so well; no disagreements, and so much love!! I know your Mother was with you, and I know that you made her proud!! I know you will continue to do so, and thank G-D you have a fantastic support system. I'm honored that you are my friends!!
Love,
Lauren

We are so sorry for your loss. Your mom was one of a kind, and will be missed. Even though I have not seen her in such a while, there will always be a special place for her in my heart. I will never forget the days when your home was my second home, and I was treated as one of the Posner clan. Your mom chauffered us to the malls, and took us to pick up Chinese. What great memories!
