Not sure what to say?

Shirley, was a treasure to have as a friend. WE were Groundlings, and we had many years of laughter together. She was always in a great mood and ready to work. Her talents were outstanding. She will always be missed by all who knew her.

Mathilda, I have followed Shirley's career over the years and am delighted that she did so well. I was saddened to learn of her illness and death. Please accept my sympathies on your loss. Phyllis DeRouen Carnilla

Happy birthday, Shirley. Thought of you yesterday.

Shirley, was one of a kind, I always enjoyed working with her, and looked forward to her smiles and the love she gave as well received! I miss the sweet lady filled with LoVe' our sweet angel..

My deepest sympathy goes to Mathilda, the Prestias, and her closest friends. I regret that I could not attend her graveside service. Shirley and I were casual friends who got to know each other better when we were seniors going to play practice.

I think it is appropriate for me to share a laugh that Shirley created: We went to frequent rehearsals to a local boys' high school and we thought we were big stuff at 17. One night on the way home she stopped short when she saw that her...
