Not sure what to say?

Heartfelt condolences go out to James and the entire family. I grew up down the street from the Pyle family in Shore Acres. I have many childhood memories spent with this family...memories that stay with you forever. May she rest in peace.

My husband's ex-mother-in-law was Shirley's sister. He and I visited Shirley a couple of years ago when we spent a month of the winter season in the St Petersburg area. Though I only had met her once before at a family wedding, I can tell you that she was a gracious and giving woman. Her life was rich and full; and I'm sure that she gave lots of spirit, faith, and comfort to all that came in touch with her through her many activities. She will be missed.

May peace and light be with your family at this time. Thank you for all the years of joy Shirley brought to our community - especially the wonderful times Shirley shared with American Stage as a dedicated volunteer. Our deepest sympathy, love your friends at American Stage Theatre.

SO SORRY TO READ OF SHIRLEY'S PASSING. MY SISTER IRENE ORTA WAS A NEIGHBOR OF SHIRLEY'S BACK IN 1960'S, WHERE THEY BOTH LIVED IN MOUNTAINVILLE, ALLENTOWN, PA. MY HUSBAND AND I VISTED SHIRLEY IN ST. PETERSBURG, FL IN 1990'S. WE KEPT IN CONTACT WITH CHRISTMAS CARDS. MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO SHIRLEY'S FAMILY. WITH LOVE AND PRAYERS.

Shirley welcomed me to LCC and was always there to do whatever was needed. She was a true inspiration.
