Not sure what to say?

Bill and fammily, Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of your life. How thankful we are for the gospel that helps us through these trials. Shirley will always be remembered as a loving and thoughtful person who cared for many as a wonderful nurse and as a great friend. She will be missed. Thanks for your friendship. Love, Jack and Julie Johnson

Shirley was an inspiration to me when I worked with her at Cottonwood Hospital in the ER. She was such a unique combination of fun, compassion, friendliness, and people felt safe with her. As the years passed and I saw less and less of her, our chance meeting one day brought to light that I lived in her ward. After she pleaded to me to come to church I agreed and her and Bill saved us a place on the back row as was agreed upon. I learned to love the ward and because of the promptings of...

Dear Reanon,
Sorry to hear about the death of your mother, what a wonderful lady she was. She was always willing to help us in whatever adventure we were going on. She is on a different adventure now and will be able to help many others on the adventure. You have definitely followed in your moms footsteps.
Take care, Love and Hugs!

Dear Bill and Family,
Our deepest sympathy for your loss. Shirley was such a great person and always had a smile for everyone. Many thousands of people were helped by her kindness and talent which she shared with everyone. When Dean had his Cardiac Arrest and was rushed to the hospital, he always said that the first thing he saw when he came back around was Shirley's smiling face waking him up. She was security to all us when we had to visit Cottonwood, it was never the same without...

Although I did not know Mrs. Rager, I do know she raised a great son, my good and dear friend Ken. Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your wonderful mother.

I was tickled to read Sherrie Kener-Geber's note because I am also a daughter of one of your mom's nurse friends, DeAnn Schuif. Shirley's love, example and fun personality have touched many generations. She is such a sweet woman and friend. I remember going to Michaels grocery store and coming to visit your mom when I was a little girl. She was always so fun and kept us laughing. We enjoyed sitting on the porch with various animals to play with. Another endearing memory is of the trips...

So sorry to hear of your loss. Our prayers are with your family.

To Renon,
From a daughter who lost a parent, no matter how old you are, that was your mom and your sons grandma, and what a wonderful gift you gave her to allow your son to be a part of her life, and a part of her death. You did good, she is so proud. Love and Prayers

I was saddened to hear of Shirley's passing. She was such an important part of my youth. What a wonderful young woman leader and friend. I wonder how many rolls of toilet paper she supplied to scavenger hunts only to get it back in her own tree. There is a special place in heaven for her. I love you all. Annette Gardner Egan
