Not sure what to say?

Her goodness, her caring, and her wisdom live on like a legacy of love that will always be with us. Diane, may that
love surround you now and bring you peace. It was an honor and prividedge to have known Shirley.

Shirley was a wonderful woman; very nice, too. I was the organist, years ago, at the church she attended. I remember when she heard the choir sing a Communion song, "In Remembrance of Me." She told me after the service that she wanted that song at her memorial service. With the pandemic, there probably was not a Memorial Service.

Condolences to family and hoping your loving memories will comfort you in the times ahead. Shirley was such a good, strong woman, role model and treasure for our community. I always enjoyed our conversations and her optimistic outlook on life--she left such a positive impression on everyone she met. Her work with the young girls at Tech Trek certainly left them feeling inspired and appreciated. She made a difference!

We had such great times being dorm moms together at UCSB.

My deepest sympathy to the family in the loss of your mother. She was so full of life, a huge heart and a laughter that was so contagious. I had the privilege of getting to know her for many years at Las Posas CC where I had worked. She loved her Bingo and Bridge. I will always remember her fondly.

Diane, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose a mother. Your mom was awesome. I heard so much about her from Lupe, she truly was an amazing woman. I pray that you are at peace knowing that she is resting now and knowing that you always did a great job taking care of her and up until the very end. My love and condolences to all the family.
