Shirley RENNIE

I have fond thoughts of working with Shirley at Planned parenthood.

I met Shirley in Jan 1971. I had been hired by Planned Parenthood to work in the outreach department. I was a single mom with a beautiful 6 month old little boy at home. I was scared, insecure with no self esteem. Suddenly this tall, beautiful, women with the most wonderful auburn hair was talking to me as if I was an equal and offering me guidance and telling me I could do anything. She taught me to be proud, she was so kind to my son and she helped me find the back bone I always had but...

Shirley was a very compasionate person, helping women in difficult times with compasion and undestanding. I had the privilege of working with her at Planned Parenthood in Trenton for many years ad I have very fond memories of her. May her soul rest in peace.
