Shirley Robichaux passed away in New Orleans, Louisiana. The obituary was featured in The Times-Picayune on June 12, 2013.
Aunt Shirley was a great lady who always treated the whole Neukom clan like royalty. Some of my fondest memories as a child were the summer vacations at Aunt Shirley's house. The entire Robichaux family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Shirley was my "favorite" aunt (she looked so much like our mom.........Carmen Hess).
When we visited her house as teenagers (from California) she made us feel as part of the family the minute we walked into her house.
I will never forget those two summers and her hospitality.
She was a great lady.

We all wanted to go to Shirley's house! I can't count the times we enjoyed her hospitality; and how patient she was with our intrusions on her!. Our family will talk about it forever. Pete loved all his brother snd sisters, but Shirley was the dearest of all to him.She was always there for him when he was growing up, and he never forgot it. Our deepest love to all of you.
