Not sure what to say?

I worked with Shirley for many years.she was a wonderful person. My condolences to the family.

Shirley was a great neighbor, a lovely lady, kind and quiet. I wish her Family all the best. You have my condolences.

I've known Shirley for many years i went to school with her daughter Lora Shepard she will be missed by many R.I.H. Shirley.

My thoughts and prayers for the family. Shirley was the most wonderful woman. She showed her family how important they were in her life. She was a rockstar! Her family will miss her deeply. Hugs to all. Rest in peace Shirley.

Our condolences to you & your siblings Lara! Love & Hugs..

I can't express how much Shirley has influenced my life and those of my brothers. The fact that she gave up her life to rescue four children in jeopardy speaks volumes of her character. She showed us what unconditional love was. Her love knew no boundaries. Shirley was a wonderful "Mom" and grandma. We have all been blessed to have her in our lives and I will be forever grateful for all she has done and meant to us. May the red butterflies guide you to the bridge to the ancestors. I hope...

My heart goes out to Shirley's family. My mom Mickey and her were dear friends and my mom loved getting letters from her. The last minutes of my mom's life were hearing words from a letter Shirley wrote her. I bet they are having some good talks right about now.

I so loved Shirley. My mom Mickey and I would go visit, drive around and go to lunch together. My mom and Shirley played a lot of golf together and always talked about the ole days, crafting and sewing. She has a special place in my heart. Mika Umstead McWilliams
