I am glad I got to know her. I met her when she moved into the Willows Retirement Building. I loved seeing her in her high heels and her hats. She will be missed by all of us.

Shirley came into our lives when we needed an angel to care for our parents, Buddy and Lealer Bowes, and she wad indeed, an angel. Kind, soft-spoken, and so very caring. Shirley was a life-saver to me and my sister. She became a part of our family not just a caregiver. One of my favorite photos of my mom near the end of her days, was of her and Shirley sitting on a glider on the deck of my parents home.
