God Saw You...
by Author Unknown
God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "Come to me".
You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

Shirley,
Words can never say how special you were to everyone. You touched us all in your own way. Thanks for being there for me. Thank you Rich, Laura and Scott for sharing your mom with the rest of us. Thank you for being a level headed understanding human being!

Sharon

I met Shirley when we worked together at NMC Homecare several years ago. In fact she was the one who interviewed me when I was first hired there. She was a good teacher and taught me everything I needed to know about Home Health and billing. She was outstanding in what she did and the clents all loved her. I have thought of her often in the past few years and was saddened to read of her passing. I know how much she loved her family and how important you all were to her. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you during this difficult time.

I worked with Shirley at NMC Homecare for many years; she was a great asset to us and just the best at what she did. Always kind and helpful to our clients as well as the staff. I'm saddened to hear of her death. My thoughts are with Rich and the rest of her family and friends.

Even though I'm not legally apart of the family (yet) SHe always made me feel welcomed at family events. When Leanna and I were in a fallout, Mema got us back together. It was the boy's Birthday party and Mema was like Ash your not going anywhere anytime soon, get in here and help us cut veggies. :) She was the glue that held the family together. She is going to be missed IMEMNSELY!!! Love you MEMA

Although I am not an actual grandchild, she was and always will be Grandma Shirley. She took me in as one of her own and didn't think twice about it. I will never forget her trying to get me to eat yogurt, ("It's just like ice cream!"), and now I love yogurt. And not to mention the many nights that she would let me play hairdresser and not get angry when I got the brushes stuck in her hair... Rest in peace Grandma, you will be truly missed and not a day will go by that we don't think of you... I love you. Kelli M. Postel
