Not sure what to say?

We still think of you often. Jess is soon turning 21! Every time she eats pasta, we remember you were the only one she would eat that for. You left a permanent impression on us both. We never forget you and often wonder how your family is.

We miss you! We drive by your neighborhood weekly, and we talk about you every time, still. Can't believe it has been 10 years. Jess will soon be 18!

I don’t know how much text I can put here, but here goes. Words do not do justice for Shirley. I first met Shirley over the phone, sometime during my childcare searches with my first child. She did not have space then, but for some reason, I hung onto her number. I contacted her again after I had my 2nd child. We met, and that was it. She cared for my daughter from a 1 yr old, until Shirley said my gal REALLY needed to go to preschool. I so did NOT want to leave. It took about a year...

Dear Sando family. we just heard about Shirly and are so very sorry for your loss. She was a second mother for Brandon. Our prayers and sympathy are with you all at this time. Love, Cathy, Roger, Brandon and family.

Dear Bill and family of our dear Shirley. I just found out late this afternoon, about our loss. Shirley took care of our Tony from age five months to start of school. But we lived only a few blocks away and Tony never quit visiting Shirley until we moved to Walla Walla in 1999. Even then, we have stayed in touch with phone calls, cards and pictures. Tony is off to Bible College in two weeks. Shirley would have loved knowing that. The Nichols family is so saddened by your loss which is...

Bill, Lisa, Leslie, Adam & Denise: Please know that we are praying and thinking about each and every one of you every day. Shirley was a wonderful, kind, sincere, and most of all, loving person and always put her family first. I had had many talks with her over the years and she put all of you and her grandchildren on pedestals and you could do no wrong. We will all see her again some day and know that she is with Penny now and having a good time.
