Shirley was my mother's best friend! She and her husband Rich seemed to really understand my parents' quirkiness and odd-ball humor! I knew her son David well. I was so sorry to hear about his passing as well as her two other sons before her death. I'll be forever grateful to Shirley and Rich for their devoted friendship with my parents. Blessed be.

I just learned of Shirley's passing, I'm so sorry! She will always have a place in my heart. Taking care of her taught me a lot.

Rich and Sarah, I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Shirley. She was such a dear friend to my parents. I have fond memories of being at the pool with my mom and Shirley. My mom always wore a swim cap which totally embarrassed me, but Shirley was the cool mom that swam laps under water! Love and Prayers, Barbara Filbeck Adams
