Read MoreShirley was a highlight of my Oberlin career. She was certainly the person I raced to hug every time I returned to Oberlin. Even though she called me "Paully" I cherished her greeting and her friendship. We worked together at the Sco and I cannot imagine the place without her. The Sco and the world was a better place with Shirley - a void has been formed.

Some of my favorite memories from college involve hanging out with Shirley and knitting together while we checked IDs at the Sco. I think of her often and will miss her dearly.
