To The Thomas Family,
Sister Shirley Thomas was a "Loving, Cheerful Person". I always enjoyed talking to her whenever we would run into each other. I will never forgot the "Sundays" after church when I had dinner at "The Blue Fin". She was an excellent cook. Keep the "Faith".

My prayers and love are with you. Your mother was someone who could always leave the impressionable impressions on people she met. She did everything she could for her family and what she could for friends...All the time! A heart big as we could ever imagine, and a love that will linger on from heart to heart and breast to breast with those who knew and loved her. Although I haven't known her all my life, it feels like I have just because of who...

Dear Thomas Family:

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Miss Shirley. I have nothing but fond memories from "back in the day" when she was the best pitcher and hitter in the parks and recreation softball league. She always said you are never too old to play and because of her words I am still playing in Newport News, and I now know what she meant.

May God bless you all.
