Shirley Thomas

Shirley was always my favorite Aunt. When I was younger, I got to stay with Uncle Leon & Shirley. Even thou I came from a big dairy farm; it was fun going to their farm in Prairieville and their farm on Milo Rd. Aunt Shirley took me to church in Galesburg and that was the only time I got to go to a church. When Uncle Leon & Aunt Shirley moved to their farm in Barry County, that was the end of going to church. Shirley will be missed.

I will always have great memories of Shirley. She was a great friend for many years sharing in bowling, working together and the many drinks and chips at chi chi restaurant. The home interior parties, the lunches at Finley´s with John and Larry. And of course the luncheon´s at the Richland Cafe. The hummingbird collections we both loved. My prayers and thoughts go out to her family which she loved dearly which we had many, many conversations about. Her friend Gwen Walker
