Not sure what to say?

Norma, May time heal all wounds. Thinking of you and your family at this time.
Hugs of Love.

Words can't express how important Shirley's support was to us. The town has lost so much, but she will still be watching over Durham and her family, too, we know.

miss you already!

Gorwing up in Durham, I remember Shirley as the crossing guard - she would keep an eye on us kids, and if I was doing something wrong, my mom found out. As a mom myself, now I appreciate that so much more than I did as a teen - it really does take a village and Shirley Thompson was a vibrant, involved active part of Durham. The town is better for having a citizen of her caliber! My condolences on your loss.

How we will miss seeing Shirley around town and her infectious optimism and positive can-do attitude! She was a force of nature and our community has lost an amazing advocate for our kids.
We are so grateful to her for everything she has done for Durham.

There isn't much else to say that hasn't already been said. One in a million lady who touched many, many hearts and will be missed greatly by a lot of people. You sure earned your wings to fly among the angels a million times over. God Blessed Us when he gave us you. I know I am asking God to bless you and your family. ?

She was a force of nature! Loved her community and her people! I never saw her when she didn't have time to chat and she was always animated and cheerful. Durham has lost one of it's Best.

This is such a loss for our entire Durham and Oyster River community. Shirley was always a delight to see anywhere in town. Our own kids loved her, and every student that I introduced her to always smiled and had a great talk with her! She was full of life and cared so deeply about the children. We will miss her greatly!

Shirley was an amazing woman full of life and laughter. I will treasure my talks with her, hearing about her turquoise jewelry and seeing her Goodwill finds. What a joy. I will miss seeing her. God bless.
