Not sure what to say?

We were sorry to learn of Mrs. Veach's passing. Her family and she were good neighbors for many years. Always loved to say hi when we encountered her on her walks through the neighborhood. Her husband and she raised two lovely children. Of course, Veach's toy store was always a delightful place to take our daughter. The birthday castle delighted many children over the years. Rest in Peace, Mrs. Veach. May God comfort your family as they go through this difficult time.

John and Jenny,

My deepest condolences to you both. Some fun times for sure at Veatch’s store as a kid and with my kids plus water skiing with you all.

All the best,

Jay and Sara Lahman.

So sorry for the loss of your mother. She always had a great smile.

Dear Family,
Ron and I send our heartfelt condolences for this enormous loss.

The friendship that our family made with the Veach family as neighbors will last a lifetime. Shirley was an amazing person and made the greater Richmond area better. She is an example for others to follow. We are sorry to hear this news, it is a loss you and for the area

John, Jenny, and Tony, I am so sorry for your loss. Since leaving Richmond, I have come to appreciate more all the wonderful people who live there. Your parents were two of them. May the the memories of your mother help to fill the void you now feel. Best wishes and take care.

My thoughts and prayers to the family. She was always the sweetest person to me with the biggest smile. She enjoyed working in the store during the holidays so much. RIP.

Shirley & I became instant friends when I lived I lived in Richmond. I can still see her coming down the back hill carrying bags of clothes from Veach’s store. I watched Jennie & John grow up. I will always cherish the time a few years ago when we spent the afternoon reminiscing about past times. She was such a special person & will be missed! ❤
