Shirley E. Walter

Shirley E. Walter, 83, of Lower Saucon Twp., passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus, Bethlehem Twp. She is the wife of Raymond D. Walter. She was born in Williams Twp. on June 22, 1933 to the late Isaac and Margaret (Lehr) Deemer. Shirley is a member of St. John's Church on Morgan Hill, Williams Twp. SURVIVORS: In addition to her husband of 60 years; children: Kathie Ann (Jeffrey L.) Haag of Hellertown, Nancy J. (Michael J.) Moninghoff of Easton, Melinda D. Walter of Hellertown; grandchildren: Gwendolyn, Tanner, Michaela Jo, David; great granddaughters: Capri, Bexley. Predeceased by a daughter: Amy Jo; and siblings. SERVICE: Family and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown and 10 - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 2720 Morgan Hill Road, Williams Twp., Easton followed by the service at 10:30 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Raubsville Cemetery.
