I am so thankful that you and my mother Frankie were good friends. Shirley was so supportive when my mother passed and she kept in touch with me for a few years afterwards. Shirley was always kind and supportive to my mother and to me. You are blessed to have had her in your life.

We were involved in Politics together in a Political campaign. I lost and Shirley was in a runoff and then lost, a loss for the City as well. She was a great lady. I think of her when I drive down Union Street
