I am sorry to hear of your loss. Shirley sang at my mother's funeral in 1991 in Orange. I never knew how we were connected to her. What was her conenction to the Neffs? My mother's mother was a Neff from Arkansas.

I met Shirely in the 1990s when I had relocated to Huntington Beach from Nashville, TN. Not having very much family around me, she always welcomed me to her home. She had the greatest laugh and you knew she was genuine. One day I saw her out at a restaurant and I had her granddaughter with me in the car and she came up to the car and asked what two pretty ladies were doing around town that fine summer's day!!!

I love Aunt Shirley with all my heart she was a remarkable lady. Her & mother had the most wonderful voices. I am sure mom is happy as can be to have her baby sister with her in heaven.
