Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to Ron and his family. I did not Shoshana that well, but whenever I talked to her over coffee or at a Stanford function, she was always very warm and friendly. She would always smile and ask how I was with great interest. Shoshana talked about her family and it was clear how much they meant to her.

Dr. Levy...One of your colleagues just told me the sad news about your beautiful wife Shoshana's passing, and sent me a copy of her obituary. I never met her, but what a remarkable wife, mother, friend & professional she must have been - - in every sense of those words. As an "outsider" reading about Shoshana Levy for the first time, I'll just note this: She did indeed help make this world a better place. Her research has no doubt saved or lengthened many, many lives. Outside of all she...

Really shocked about the sad news. Met Shoshana last time in October in Prague! Having met her for the first time in the last century (1997) during my stain at Stanford, she has always been an inspiration and a pillar to all the "tetraspaninologues". We will miss her very much

To the Levy family: Shosh was a source of inspiration and support to me throughout my academic career. I will dearly miss her honesty and sincerity in giving constructive criticism while advocating for her trainees, and for supporting folks like me. I will also miss the rigor of her elegant approach to science, especially her objectivity in interpretation of data while never abandoning the subjectivity in appreciating the beauty of the results from good experiments ("that is nice data"). I...

Tom and I enjoyed our lovely family gatherings with such a special wing of the Levy family. Our deepest condolences to you all.

Ron and the Levy family, I had the pleasure of working with Shosh in the mid 70s. I remember the amazing twinkle in her eyes, especially when she was doing something amusing. She actually talked to the DNA that she was studying. Whenever she would turn on the electrical power to propel DNA fragments through a gel, she would unfailingly say, "Go you babies. Run you babies." From then on that was how I greeted her. Ron quickly caught on. Her memory is a blessing to us all.

Sending deepest condolences to sister Hanna, husband Ron and all of the Levy´s, and sister Margalit. Though I never had the honor of meeting Shosh, I heard stories from Hanna, who loved and admired her sister so much. May you find comfort in each other during this difficult time...may you know no more sorrow. BDE

What a gem you were to all of us lucky enough to have met you - inspirational, with piercing intellect and radiant love! My heart breaks with this news. Shoshana - may your memory be a blessing, and may your science and love long endure!

My heartfelt condolences to Ron and the entire Levy family. I worked with Shosh from 1976 to 1980. I will never forget being welcomed for dinners on holidays being away from my family in New York. I will always remember my good memories from that time of my life. All the best
