Not sure what to say?

It is with deep regret and sadness to learn of the passing of Dr. Hu. Still remember those old days with Lau-Hu at SUNY/Buffalo between 1977 and 1978. He was such a wonderful friend, always with a brilliant smile on his face. He will be missed.

To Shou-Chen

My deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Hu. Smile had always been on Shou-Chen's face in college during 1967-1971 when he and Fan-Lang were our classmates in Taipei, Taiwan. We met again in Columbia, South Carolina in 1979 when Shou-Chen gave a talk there on differential equations. He also expounded the Poincare's classical masterpieces while he was visiting Brown University. His past mathematical genealogy can even go back to David Hilbert through George Karl Wilhelm Hamel in 1901,...

It is with a great sadness that I learned of the passing away of my dear friend and college classmate, Dr. SHOU-CHEN HU, a charming, brilliant and esteemed mathematician and engineer with a good sense of humor, upright character and loving and caring personalities. I truly enjoyed and will cherish the memories of our days while we were in college. I still can vividly recall he called me “Wei-Pond”(which means Fat Wei in Chinese) or “Wei-Dou-Jiang”(which means Soybean Milk Wei in Chinese) ,...

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me" - Psalm 23:4
Shou-Chen had been very nice and helped many of us with his broad knowledge at work. Most of all, he taught me how to adjust to culture difference in a positive way.
May God's love and peace be with you and your family.

So sorry to hear of Shou-Chen's passing... I worked with him at Raytheon in Tewksbury. Very tragic and sad news...

Our TDWR Team

Our deepest condolences to the family. Shou-Chen was a good friend and a wonderful co-worker.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I worked briefly with Shou-Chen when he was in Sudbury years ago, but I always remember him because he was very helpful and so friendly and we often talked to share some cultures. He was wondering why I cannot speak Chinese...
He will be missed.
