My condolences to the family of Dr. Wang. I met Dr. Wang in January, 1989, and he was instrumental in my admission as a Northeastern Illinois University political science student. He was my mentor during my undergraduate years, and welcomed me again when I decided to work on my masters in International Relations. Dear Louisa,
So sorry for your loss. Dr. Wang was a good colleague and dedicated teacher. Students appreciated his passion ("because why" he would ask or assert before providing an explanation). I remember him calling me "little brother" in my early years at NEIU. I recall running into both of you at O'Hare several years back.
