Not sure what to say?

You are and were the best grandma anyone could ask for. Always loving, kind, and made the best orange jello salad (with grated carrots and raisins)! I remember as a kid loving the TV room and the toy closet you set up for your grandkids. Also the formal living room with the closet full of your fur coats, fancy hats and purses. I fondly remember every part of your house including the bathroom next to your bedroom with the huge photo of Tom Selleck. You were one of a kind Grandma Shyrle. ...

I love you, mama. You are the best mama a son could ever hope for. You are always thinking about us, and never about yourself. Your favorite thing to do was to make a loving, peaceful, abundant life for your children, husband and extended family and friends. You are the best mama. I love you and thank the Holy Father for you. I know you are in the Lord´s care which makes me happy.

One of Shyrle's many happy days

You are now "home" with my mom Karol and brother Justin. I miss you. I miss being pen pals with you. I miss visiting you in ID and having you share stories about your life with my mom. Thank you for inspiring me to be the best version of myself I can be.

I miss my momma. Her phone calls, her voice, her ever present support and love. She was a great mother, grandmother and wife. I love you momma and will see you soon.

Grandma Shyrle was a treasure. I have appreciated her kindness and support these many years, with and without her, and still carry her love with me today.

I miss my wonderful grandma. What a life she led. I am glad for the influence she has had in my life and I will love her always.

Dear Aunt Shirley, You were a blessing to all who were a part of your life. I'm sorry that I did not know you better
