Not sure what to say?

My bride Dianne and I were so happy to have met Sia and Karen in the Fall of 1965, in Seal Beach, CA and find out that they also lived in San Luis Obispo. Over the next few months we became very close friends. We have remained friends over all of these years and visited them along the way as they moved to the Valley in Los Angeles and to Colorado Springs. Sia and I called each other brothers. I was "Das Gerald and he was Das Sia. Our wives were born one day apart in the same year but...

Dear Karen and family, my thoughts are with you. Sia's and your kind guidance has remained with me.

If not for the help and foresight the understanding ,in my most confused times I might not have survived. Thank you God for Sia and his open heart. Mike Jubb, Thank you to my friend Karen.

Sia was a just, joyful, and kind person. I still have fond memories of the Fallahi Ranch during the summer and fall months of 1995 -1997. In addition, together, Sia and Karen created a "reaching across the lines" to every visitor who stepped on the grounds of the Fallahi Ranch. Thanks Sia for leaving a legacy of reaching out to others. Karen, stay strong, for you are still a shining star among us. I am grateful to have you both still in my heart. - James Caldwell

Dear Karen and family, Please accept my son. Arman´s and my condolences and sincere sympathy, on the ascension of dear Sia. Be exemplified love and kindness, and we cherish memories of time with him. May his soul advance in next realm Saeed Sobhi

Sia was the heart and soul of goodness in our neighborhood. There was never a time when his (and Karen's) attention was not turned toward helping, consoling, counseling with love and care others. All of us in Divine Redeemer are diminished by the loss of this gentle man.

An honor to know Sia and he will be missed. Sia was a kind and generous man with a heart bigger than the ocean. We shared both tears and laughter. Many blessings to Karen and his family today and always.

Such a wrenching loss for Karen after 64 years as one.And also Shawn&Tyler, our heartfelt support on the pathway of grief and, of course, the joy of having Sia as your family guide. Blessings, too,Pari, Sina, Mahnaz&Fritz. Karen, with tenderness and grace, have patience as you discover ways of weaving yourself into this new identity as "just Karen."
