SID FRANK

My parents were neighbors of Phil and Sarah Frank in Maplewood NJ. Our houses were back to back off of Parker Ave. I knew them from 1955 - 19 70. They were very proud of their Son, Sid who wrote the song "Talk to her please Mr. Sun." I would like to contact a grandchild. We send to the Frank family our heartfelt condolences. Peter, Hannah and I have so many wonderful memories of Sid - a talented, witty, and generous man. He treasured his wife Helen, an extraordinary artist, and his family and friends - oh, and baseball, too! As we miss Sid, we keep treasured memories in our hearts. Lots of love to all.

Dear Helen and family,
I am Ellie Slobodien Goldman and Ben's daughter. I have wonderful memories of our son (now 44) carrying around Sid's Trivia book on Presidents, every day, beginning at age 3 and continuing for many years. It was his favorite book and we know it ignited his love of history. Jason is now a history professor.

I also remember Sid's records being played over and over in our home. I remember being impressed.
