Sidney Ray `Morel

A resident of Pointe Coupee and native of Watson, he died on May 10, 2013 along with his father as a result of an automobile accident. He was 47 years old and employed by Cajun /IDC as an iron worker. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs beginning at 3:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 7:00pm. Burial will take place at 1:00pm on Monday, May 13, 2013 in St. Roch Cemetery #2 in New Orleans. He is survived by his devoted wife Darlene "Honey" Poirier Morel , mother, Dee Morel White, three children, Ashley, Lane and Aubri, sister, Shawn Poole, nephew, Austin Poole and his extended family in Canada. Honorary pallbearers will be, Terry Vermaelen, Mark Edelman, Wally Hollier, Ken Schaffer, Brett Sonnier, Dennis Morel and Paul Poirier of Canada.
