Sidney Albert

My sympathies to the family. Dr. Albert was one of my first professors at Cal State LA, and I became the first student there to graduate with a B.A. degree in philosophy (1960). I do not know how much of my future career as a professor of philosophy can be attributed to Dr. Albert or to any other professor there, but he was part of a group of Cal State LA professors who had a significant influence. I saw him once again at a philosophy conference and I was struck by his continued enthusiasm...

My deepest sympthies to his family. Although distantly related, he and I were close friends many years ago in Syracuse, NY. I recall with great personal pleasure his humor and his caring.
