Remembering mutual friend, Danny....

Dear Bonnie and Gary,
I just read today, August 4th, in the JUF News that your father passed away in May. I am so sorry. I need not tell you what a special person he was. He launched so many young physicians and his love for Dermatology made him inspirational. He will be missed.
Wishing you comfort and peace.
Best,
Margie Rosenbaum

Dr. Bonnie, I send my condolences on the passing of your father. I said a little prayer for him at my synagogue last night. You talked about him often. He must have been an incredible man. Again, my sincere condolences.

Dear Bonnie,
My heart goes out to you and your family. Dr Barsky is the most brilliant man I have ever met. He taught me so much in Dermatology and I'm so proud to say I'm a better Dermatologist because of all his teaching and dedication. It feels like an end of Era but he'll continue to live on, in memories and hearts of so many of us forever. I'm really sad to miss his funeral service. May his soul rest in peace. My sincere condolences..

From Cantor Stewart Figa at the West Suburban Temple Har Zion community: Condolences to the family from the WSTHZ family. I remember Sidney fondly from his attending High Holy Days and other events during my earlier years at the temple. I know he was more active with us before my time. I remember that he had a distinguished presence and fine sense of humor.

im heart goes out to your family at this time. i got to hear some of the wonderful stories of such a smart and funny man. Dr. Bonnie Barsky as i lost my father.. all i can say is.. you never stop remembering. and you learn to live with the emptiness that your dad leaves. but you will smile at his pictures, and songs or favorite food. it will be all right. sending prayers to you and all of your family.

So sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of your family while growing up in Maywood.
My deepest sympathy.
