Not sure what to say?

I just tried to call your Dad's phone number to see how he's doing and found the phone number disconnected. I'm so sorry that he's no longer a phone call away, but grateful for his testimony to God's abiding presence and his kindness to the family of his fellow polder-builder, Will Reyneveld. We're thinking of you in this time of parting.

Sincerely,

Dan and Ellen(nee Reyneveld) VanderMey

At our recent Founders Banquet of the Association of Grand Rapids Landscape Professionals many mentions were made of how instumental Sid was to our organization in the early years. He always was available to help a young competitor that needed advise. True testiment to his Christian values. Dirk Bakhuyzen

Sid and my father were classmates in the Netherlands. When my father was ill, Sid brought encouragement to him and he was such as blessing to him and my mother. May the wonderful memories and his faith give you comfort and peace.

Dear Ed and Tami,
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. May you have comfort and peace knowing that this dear man is in glory with our Lord.

To the DeJong Family,
Sid was such a nice and determined man. We always marveled at him hiking past our place & on up to the Dunes to do his "litter patrol". I'm sure that he is smiling down and happy to know that Bill & Ed have inherited his love of our area and are actively involved in trying to make Silver Lake a better place.
Sincerely,
Paul & Diane Nielsen

Sid was such a treat to see each Sunday at church. I enjoyed getting to know him and Cora. Sid would always have something uplifting to say. My condolences to the family.

My sympathy to the DeJong family. Sid was a good, fun, hard-working man, and it was a pleasure to know him. Sara Applegate
