Sad to lose a long time colleague and friend. We were in grad school together at SIUC and had some fond memories of that time. Later, Sid was instrumental in the formation of the Cahokia Archaeological Society chapter of the Illinois Association for Advancement of Archaeology, and also one of the first board members of the Cahokia Mounds Museum Society.
