Not sure what to say?

I knew coach Ingram when he coached me at Banks High School in 1965. He was a great coach and taught me well. Because of his training, I moved on to the "SEC" and played at the University of Tennessee. He was a caring person but firm. He coached Banks to a state championship title in 1965, our first. A great loss to humanity.

So sorry to hear of Mr Ingram's passing. My thoughts and prayers to the Ingram family. He'll always be part of the memories I have of my years at Grissom High School.
Class of '77.

My condolensces go out to the family of Mr. Sidney Ingram. I graduated from Banks High School in 1972 and I remember that Mr. Ingram always seemed to have the right combination of sterness and compassion. I had a strong respect for him....he was one of the really good ones.

My Thoughts and prayers are with the Ingram Family. I attended Grissom and thought the world of Mr. Ingram. My daughter now attends.
He was always supportive and caring.

My heartfelt condolonces go out to the Ingram family. I was a student at Grissom High School from 1993-1996. I always had a deep respect for him. He was always fair and pushed for excellence. May he and his family always find comfort with God.

My heartfelt condolonces go out to the Ingram family. I got to know Mr. Ingram when I was a student at GHS (class of '81). He was a great principal and a very nice man who really cared about his students. I consder myself fortunate to have known him.

I never met Sid although he and my mother were 1st cousins. Her name is Clara Belle (Bradshaw) Casey. We are very sorry to hear of your loss. We will surely keep you in our prayers.

I am sure I speak on the behalf of my brother and in the memory of our younger sister when I say that we three were blessed to have had been led by such a great Principal. Mr. Ingram was genuine and kind. He tried his best to know his students. From the class of 1988(my brother and I)to the class of 2000(when our sister graduated and Mr. Ingram retired) Mr. Ingram, knew we were family.
We are saddened about his loss to the Ingram family. From a family that has recently lost loved ones...

As Superintendent of Huntsville City Schools from 1991-98, I found Mr. Ingram to be a very caring and professional person and educator. Whatever he did, he did it for the good of Grissom High School. My prayers are with his family
