I enjoyed Sid’s company every Monday morning at Vans Bakery for the hymn sing sponsored by John & Donna VanderMeer. Rain, snow, cold, or shine, Sid was there and his testimony’s of faith were an example I can only hope to follow. Sid brought me closer to God than I’ve ever been. He lead by example, soft expressions, and a passion to follow Christ like no one I’d ever met before. When my father died Sid came to a visitation, alone, fumbled through the crowd, found me, and gave me a hand...

A great man. A legacy. A person that practiced servant leadership every day of his life. God Bless you Sid. You will be remembered, forever

Sid was one of the greatest men I've ever known. A Christian, Patriot, faithful, loving, and kind. He set the bar high for us to follow Well done good and faithful servant.

So sorry to hear of your loss! Very fond memories of both "Uncle" Sid and "Aunt" Beulah. Still have plants in my yard growing strong that originally came from their garden.
