Chief Reaves' firefighter brothers from Augusta and Columbia County honored him with a fitting tribute for such a dedicated public safety professional. His contributions to the community and his many years of protecting some of Georgia's most vulnerable citizens have not gone unnoticed.

In 1998, Sid sold me my first home. I had such trust working with him, knowing he was an honest person who truly had my best interest at hand. He had a very protective and fatherly way about him. I also had the pleasure of working with both Sid and Judy at Gracewood. What a great couple, and what great people. Sid, you will be missed by so many. Thoughts and prayers are with the Reaves family.

Today I WAS SO PROUD TO BE AMERICAN, ON THE WAY TO THE CEMETERY, I HAVE NEVER SEEN EVERY CAR COME TO A STOP. I was so moved by the procession following Mr. Reaves Jr service today as I pulled over to pay my respects. My prayers for the family. Please know that your husband, father and grandfather touched my heart today.

Sid was a wonderful mentor when I first became a Realtor with Crowell & Company then at Meybohm Realtors. He was a great guy.
