Not sure what to say?

I knew and worked with Sid beginning in 1975 and he was a great mentor and co-author of three Values books. A wonderful teacher, mentor and friend. I miss his communications but cherish the memories of being with him and learning from him. He was indeed SPECIAL. Steve Leatherwood

As I signed in to leave a message I saw a post from Sid´s friends Gerard and Katharina ( who I would love to connect with)who I met when Sid and I visited in Germany. I had many adventures with him for which I am most grateful. I miss him dearly.

Having heard of Sid´s death only recently we, his "German family", are sad, and we are mourning with his children and grandchildren. Sid was a real family friend, ever since he left his BMW motorcycle in our garage in Frankfurt/M. every summer in the late seventies and eighties, after having toured Europe and doing workshops with the US army. One year he even led a workshop with an all German group, with me, Katharina, translating. Often he came with his later...

Sending remembrance on behalf of M.Elliot"Red" Noyes.

I was his student at New Lincoln in the `50´s. I´ll never forget that one day when I was shining someone´s shoes (I had a small kit), Sid said to me, "Don´t ever do that again!" Everyday we were supposed to put into his Chase & Sanborn can that sat on a round table a note about something we had seen that we hadn´t ever seen before. He was one of a kind! Alan Chartock

"A THOUGHT CARD"I enjoyed my time as a tenth grade student of Sid at New Lincoln.

He always called me Lynsey! Working with Sid was amazing! He had a wall unit full of his articles. When I was preparing a requested mailing and stopped to read something-he would say "read on your own time!". I had to ck off that students wrote the required letters, but more than once I was moved to tears by what students wrote. No crying during work Lynsky! I will miss you Sidsky!

My deepest condolences and sympathy to the family of Dr. Sidney 'Sid' Simon, whom I met in a Values Clarification Workshop in 1975 in Houston, Texas. I am shocked to learn that he has passed and glad that the lessons learned from him will last a lifetime with me. May his legacy live on. Be at peace and God's Grace and Mercy for he is good.

Recently, I came across a photo I took of a book a customer had written, signed, and gave me almost 10 years ago. I decided to Google the author, Sidney Simon, to find more information on him only to sadly come across his obituary. I just want to share that even the smallest gestures (like giving someone a book) goes a long way and makes an impact, which seems to be something he was known for. He sounded like an outstanding person who clearly dedicated his time to making a difference in...
