Not sure what to say?

Words are not enough to express how I feel! At a time in my life when my presence was not appreciated he was always there for me! He never gave up on me and was part of the force that got me through some very hard times! His life saving skills seemed to follow him home! He always had a big smile every time I saw him. The world sure could use a bunch more people like him! When the world was ready to go on with out me he put his hand out and helped me get back up! You will be missed old friend!

Al- my thoughts are with you. He sounds like a remarkable man and I note the joy of your time with him in the obituary (reference that some of his jokes were funny). I recently saw some of the flannels/ flannetts and you were mentioned with great fondness.

Having grownup in Milford with the Stein family, I had the privilege of sharing many happy experiences with Ed & Sid.
This past summer we attended a Red Soxs game & Sid's memories of his early days in Milford was amazing. It's a day I will always remember. Sid was a true gentleman!
My condolences to the family Sid so loved.

It was a joy to know Sid, and to share with him around his Air Corps experiences. My Father, the pilot of his B-17 crew, always spoke highly of Sid and his part in fulfilling the missions they flew together. I was pleased to meet Sid when I attended one of their crew reunions in Ohio some years ago.

Our family very much appreciated the times that Sid and Pop shared (thanks, Marty, for your part in making that happen.) Sid was truly part of the Greatest Generation, and he will be...

Ed and the Stein Family.
Sorry to hear of Sid's passing. He was good friend and stand up guy. Was always there along with Ed whenever me or my family needed anything. May he RIP.

The Levensons, former Sussex Lane neighbors, send condolences to the family. Sid and Sandy were caring, loving people. Save all the good memories in your hearts forever.

Though our grateful nation mourns with you in your loss, we can only feel a small part of the loss you are experiencing.

Your loved one will always be a part of our country's story. As such, their sacrifice on behalf of our nation will always be honored.

In deepest sympathy.
