I've known Sid for many years. I last saw him 2 years ago for breakfast during the summer. Whenever we got together, we always talked about the road trips we used to take when he owned his RV. On one memorable trip, about 10 or 12 of us including Sid's wife Mary decided to go to Vermont for the day. We all brought food, and, of course, plenty of beer and liquor. My brother Sid was everything a big brother should be. He was a protector, a mentor, a teacher and a friend. He taught me to ride a bike, waterski, took me fishing. When he babysat he baked brownies for us. My mom and sister Lorraine would bless themselves when they came home from the movies to the disaster he made in the kitchen.
