Many memories of Auntie Juany - from riding in a corvair to beware of the dingo dog, to playing pool while the grown ups played poker - and the funny poster of Uncle Bill in the rec room. Your radiance is forever in my mind, Your niece, Rita P.

Not long ago i saw your photo in the paper. I was thinking about that the other day, when i was reading the Herald, then your mom's photo and name popped out at me. I am so sorry. She sounds like she was an amazing woman.
It's been a long time since the Madrona Junior days.

I have many fond and fun memories of Auntie Juany. Clam digging at night,
geoducking, staying at the cabin. Not to mention countless trips in the station wagon to play cards at Auntie Juany and Uncle Bill's. They were a staple in my childhood.
Juany made a great loaf of bread and the best prune butter I've ever had. I also must confess to raiding their candy jar.
