Hi Karen, Sorry to learn about your Dad's passing. As you know, he was one of my best friends from high school on. My cousin Gary happened to see his obituary in the Everett Herald and sent it to me. Unfortunately, Dawn and I are in Fort Lauderdale celebrating our grandson's birthday this weekend which has been planned for awhile and unable to attend the memorial service tomorrow. We were sad to learn that Sig passed away. He was our oldest cousin, and had always been there. Most of the time an ocean and a continent separated us. Yet every time we met, whether in Haugesund, Oslo or Everett, there was an immediate feeling of contact. Sig's warm and open personality made it a privilege to be with him. Sig moved into my neighborhood in 1948 and taught me how to say "I love you" (jeg elsker deg) He was my mentor in life. A great person.

We were so sorry to hear of Sig's passing as well as Rebecca recently. They used to come to a C&GS monthly lunch several of us were active in here in Seattle, then we didn't hear from them or were unable to get in touch with them.
