SESPLANKIS, age 85, beloved husband of 51 years to Carolyn (nee Schmidt); loving father of Mary Barrett (Bill) and Jeffrey (Jill); proud grandfather of Connor, Colleen, Theodore and Clara; son of the late Anna (nee Simytis) and George; brother of the late George, Joseph and Norma; brother-in-law of the late LaVerne Altier. Sigmund was a longtime employee of Ferro Corporation. Passed away unexpectedly August 4, 2022. Funeral Mass Wednesday, August 10, Blessed Trinity Church (14040 Puritas Ave.) at 11 A.M. I remember back in the mid 1960’s seeing you and Sig at the downtown Cleveland bowling alley bowling on a bowling league with ‘The Skyscraper Club of Cleveland. My sympathy to his family. Although it has been several years since we worked together at Ferro, I can remember that Sig enjoyed his work and his coworkers. Whatever the project, he was always eager to provide leadership and guidance.
