Not sure what to say?

She was a wonderful sister in law and i loved her humor. George

I know that my brother married Gig because she was the love of his life but, as a youngster, I kind of always thought he was thinking of me too at the time. I thought the planets revolved around this wonderful ray of sunshine. So many laughs, so many good conversations, so warm just being in her presence. I miss both Gig and Vern so much. Love always.

I love you Aunt Gig! Miss you every day...you always knew how to make me smile!!

Love, Kristin (Doris’ eldest granddaughter)

Of course, seeing Gig's picture brings a tear. Then, immediately, I remember what a silly, wonderful, funny woman my sister-in-law was. OMG how many memories and laughs. How she loved people and animals. How immaculate their yard was at all times. I wonder how many Weedeaters she wore out. Always room at her table, always a good word, always a sweet hug when required. I really love her. She was very, very special. Rest in peace, sweet one.

Incredible, just woke up yesterday thinking about my very special sister-in-law . . . capri pants in constant motion, hysterical laughter, hard work, CLEAN house, smart as a whip and such kindness. I miss Gig and Vern something fierce. Always will.

Thanks to God for a peaceful end to an incredible life. Thanks, Gig, for all the love, laughs and special times. We won't forget. Rest now, with Vern. You earned it.

May God comfort you in the difficult times ahead. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

To my very FAVORITE aunt.....I will love you forever. You're safe now.

Love, Gretchen

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
