Aunt Verona,
It was with great sadness that I learn of Uncle Silas's passing. I’m saddened that I will not be able to attend the funeral but work and business precludes travel at this time. I have many fond memories of times I spent in my youth with Uncle Silas and you. I know he is with the Lord and looking over you from above. You and yours will be in my prayers as always.
